Please call at least an hour before you need a ride or you may contact us the day before. The wheelchair lift vehicle will pick you up at your home and return you there. Please call no later than 2:00 pm.

The fare for your trip is any donation you choose. Suggested fares:
In Town Rides - $1 for the first two stops; 50 cents per additional stop
Rural Rides - $3 per day
Ellendale to Oakes - $4 per round trip
Aberdeen Trip - $10 per round trip
(PLEASE NOTE: The bus or van will only travel to rural areas if there are scheduled riders.)
Please make medical appointments between 9 a.m. and 2:15 p.m.
Tuesday – The van will be in Ellendale between 8:45 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.
Persons living outside of Ellendale can make reservations to ride the bus to Ellendale
Oakes – bus available for in-town rides only from 9:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Wednesday -The bus will be in Oakes between 8:45 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- The Ellendale Van will travel to Oakes on the 2nd and 4th
Wednesdays of each month - leave at 8:30 a.m., return at 1:30 p.m.
Thursday – The van will be in Ellendale between 8:45 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.
Friday – The bus will be in Oakes between 8:45 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Persons living outside of Oakes can make reservations to ride the bus to Oakes
ABERDEEN TRIP – The bus goes to Aberdeen the third Monday of each month. Pick-ups start in Oakes between 7 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. (the exact time depends on number of riders). The bus will proceed to Ellendale to pick up riders between 8 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. The bus typically arrives in Aberdeen by 9:30 a.m. The bus will take you to as many places as you want to go in Aberdeen. Please make your Aberdeen medical appointments between 9:45 a.m. and 2 p.m. We will start the trip home from Aberdeen by 3:30 p.m. (earlier if everyone is done). For a ride to Aberdeen, you need to call either Ellendale (701)349-4513 or Oakes (701)742-3509 by NOON the Friday before the Aberdeen Trip.
Although, the Public Transportation Services are operated by the Dickey County Senior Citizens, IT IS A SERVICE FOR THE GENERAL PUBLIC.
